“Christmas Time Images and Poems”

Image & Poem #1 … “Christmas Wreath”

Its 12 days before Christmas,

And I’m in the mood,

To post some Holiday pictures,

That are all well and good,

So I’ll start with a Wreath,

And a poem of cheer,

So that everyone can declare,

That “Christmas Time is here”

Image & Poem #2 … “Winter Horse”

Twas an icy morn in the mountains,

And a Winter Horse did appear,

After spending the night in a storm,

The snow on his back was clear,

So I stepped out of my truck,

Steadied the camera on the roof,

And made a picture that I liked,

Of the scene with tiptoeing hoofs.

Image & Poem #3 … “Christmas Barn”

With the Season comes the snow,

And to make a nice picture,

A red barn that I know,

So I take off my gloves,

And look through the viewfinder,

At the wintery scene,
And a gentle reminder,

That Santa is coming,

And before too long,

I’ll dream the Christmas dreams,

From my childhood long gone.

Image & Poem #4 … “Christmas Tree”

Fresh snow on a tree,

Catches my eye through the pines,

It’s almost Christmas,
It’s almost here,

I think in my childlike mind,

So I start counting the days,

Each one I’ve been good,

And forget all the bad ones,

Just as fast as I could.
