Hi and welcome to this edition of Workshop at the Ranch. We are off and running with Workshop at the Ranch (WATR) into 2012. I have written about numerous subjects over the years, but it is always me that selects the topic. I want to hear from you. Yes, you. I’m asking for your questions. Surely there is something photographic or technical that you want to know about. Maybe there is a particular camera setting or a lighting scenario that you want to learn about, or maybe you need some advise on upgrading your gear. Whatever your question is, here is your chance to have a voice. I am opening the door and inviting you in. Simply go to the Contact category, fill out the short name & email form, and type your question inside the comment box, and then “click” Submit. It’s easy as toast.
My goal is to answer your questions in the Workshop at the Ranch (WATR) articles over the next few months. I’m anticipating that I may get overwhelmed with hundreds of questions to choose from, so please go easy on me should I not send a “thank you” reply in a timely manor. I will do my best to give an in-depth answer along with an image to illustrate my point. Sports, Portraiture, Photojournalism, Landscapes, Weddings, any genre is fine. Technical, Lighting, Gear, your choice…this is going to be crazy good. No question is too basic or too complex. Whatever is on your mind.
This is going to be great learning and I am up for the challenge. To get the idea rolling, let’s begin with some questions that I received over the past few weeks.
Well, we are off to a good start with 4 terrific questions. Remember that the topics are your choice. Thanks for joining me, and I’ll see you next month when we continue our Q&A Series with more answers to your questions here on Workshop at the Ranch.
